when our group studied on Amazon Kindle, i was curious about the Apple`s IPad. your group help me to understand clearly how they are different, and personally I've decided to buy IPad....KKK I am really looking forward to the day they launch that in Asia. and it was a good chance to know the company which i havn't studied deeply. Actually i couldn't understand all of that you presented, but i am glad that i got a main point of your presentation.

I totally agree with the speaker. if computer didn't exist there, i can't imagine what's gonna happen there. actually if cuputer didn't exist at the beginning, it wasn't big problem whatever cumputer was there or not. but nowadays, people got used to using it so, it will be a little bit hard to make a life without a computer also internet. but i am just worry about that people are getting lazy cause by it.
I think I agree with the speaker too. Actually, I almost use my computer all day. I was working, playing, reading, and communicating with my friends by it. It’s really convenient for our life. But sometimes, I also think is that all right? Recently I do my works or reports for typing and printing, so now there are many words that I even forget how to write. People depend on computer and internet more and more. We purchase on the website replacing shopping, we watch movies online replacing go to theater. Maybe in the future, we will have a big head, long fingers, weak body, and thin legs just like an “ET”.

ReplyDeleteYou did a great presentation, especially the major point which focus on the "Jobs". And you tell the "stiff's" story about how he connected with "his" company, not theirs.
But another question in my mind is:'if you are Apple's shareholders, how did you prevent this thing,the company cannot survive without one person like Steven, from happening'?

Your presentation is really impressive! Both the way of introducing and the analysis. As you said, Google is a successful company and a tool. They combined the cloud computing into their service, but with this kind of convenience, consumers' privacy become a risk. So how Google balance the service revenue and cloud computing risk? Adjust or substitute?

For the begining, computer is a tool for helping human's life. At the present and in the future, it should be same. We can make friends with computers(AI), but can not be controled by them, love or addict? We can choose

ReplyDeleteBefore asking this question you shall know what a CEO and a shareholder is,respectively.A CEO is the person with the highest rank in a business company while a shareholder is just one who owns shares in a company. While a CEO offers ideas and takes the helm of the whole company, a shareholder mostly just invest money because he trusts in the ability of the CEO and trusts his investment will bring profit as outcome.
Suggest that your proposal is executive, supposed I as the biggest shareholder, i shall have a backup who can replace him right after his collapse. Since he is the company-cannot-suvive-without person, this backup should be a good friend of him to learn every thing from him. But i have also one in mind that : creative thinking and innovation ability is that something you can't really learn from one.
FYI, Steven is back to Apple after 10 years being fired. Y is he now back? because the company was facing a great loss and having a descending performance in the market, because the former CEO didn't do his job well and had no innovation that invites popularity. As an outcome, Steve is hired back because of his outstanding ability and achievement (who survives even without Apple, remarkably created NeXt and Pixar instead). From this incident you can see that it's Apple who needs him, so your say about how Apple prevents "having him" from happening that means Apple should kill its own company and get disappeared from the market.
At this time you can do many many things with a computer, such as tax, pay, correspondence.In the past, these things requires a lot of time to complete. Computer facilitate human life but also makes the distance between people . Some people can type 120 words in a minute, but it does not use a pen to write the correct word. I think the computer is like a two-edged sword, on the one hand a pleasant agreeable favor, on the other hand slowly eroded human instinct. Ipad invention, boosted the popularity of this e-book, but electronic parts have life after all, are not like traditional books can be stored long term, I think the computer is essential in life , but only based on the auxiliary position, perhaps someday there will be the robot in our side, but the human brain can not be replaced forever.
ReplyDeleteAs Google and Apple are currently indispensable to our daily life, we can all note that COMPUTER "coach" (inferred from potato coach) is what now we are becoming. Back in our history,we had renaissance revolution. Whereas today, Technology Information revolution is what our 21st Century is inclined to turning to.Before 1998, my grade six at primary school, developing film in photograph room was the phenomenon, so there's common to see photographroom everywhere in just a little town.Since 20th century, DIY at home is more commonly applied. We bought digital camera to snap on image and also photo printer to develop by ourselves, some even have a burner in computer to get all pictures in a compact disk and waste no place for collecting photo album. Technology took over the control of trend.

In 1976 we got first apple started up by Steve Jobs and Wozniak, In 1998 we got google started as research project by Sergey Brin and Larry Page, Stanford U- PhDs. Both were gaining popularity and reach today's TOP 10 co. rank- a you-MUST-know in 21st Century.
I believe in the future,non-money based economy will be ushering in, starting from developed country. Asian Countries include S.Korea, JPN, TW.
Entreupreneurs nowadays have a lot of automatic teller machines,the trend has changed to: people getting into a free electronic-based working-for-entreu system. Sadly to say, people will work for computer as their boss.
Some day if we no longer work for anything, anyone,any company anymore, we make our living with high-tech,technology based, only doctors are essentially required (or else we will die),then the countries will face a great deal of umemployment, only competitive ones stay and fight for living. The enormous difference between poor and rich will upgrade to high-tech versus human life.
I cannot imagine and dare not to think about this day coming, computers can be convenient for many things now, but who knows if in the future it turns to be our threats?

Well, this is my SWOT analaysis for computer about how it is going to replace our life in a pace.
computer is an innovative invention.It facilitates our lives.We can surf the internet,play games,lisen to music...Computer shorten the distance of communication and safe time. We can keep in touch with friends by using MSN or skype, also we can type what we want to say on the screen.It can be corrected easily and quickly. Due to these profits, I think computer is a convenient product

ReplyDeleteIn 1982, the computer started in the school and family uses, and the computers’ screen for the beginning just has black and white, and the function was also very few, the volume was also very big and heavy; Now, in 2010, the development which the computer is unceasingly, the screens’ color has many various colors, moreover the function does not stop renews, progresses very quickly, Now, it has produced that can use in the hand, the mobile looks like a micro shape, function simple computer.
The computer is a very convenient appliance, We can use “WORD” to make Word processing; calculates with “excel”, for some statistics is waste the time very much, but uses the computer very quick statistics; computer is also a practical dictionary, you may use on-line multi-dimensional knowledge to expand your knowledge, has anything not to understand that may access the net to look up; computers can also be used as album, photos of past memories can be placed on computer, any time you can see, it is very convenient, and even for a long time will not change the color; computers can be used as our communication tools, so that we can communication with friends far away. Computers in our lives are friends, loved ones, but also working partners, because it is in our lives has an important role. Now every family has a computer at least, a school must have a computer lab, large and small companies must have a computer as a primary tool for word processing.
“Apple” and “Goole” were famous, and two large computer-related companies, previous Goole mainly dominated the online world, Apple is produced hardware, software-based. Now, they become two opposing companies, because Goole moves in the production of the hardware market, and set up a specialized department, "practical" is their main policy, it has a great competitive.
Computers are very convenient, but there are also disadvantages, it helps us to solve many word-processing, or we will because only a computer typing, forgetting the "word" written; some of the original knowledge, because of computer automation will ignore or forget, but many things have to understand the original knowledge can discover new things; because the network diversity, children may learn some bad things online, or some unscrupulous people will use the network to do lawless things; human may too dependent on the modern technology, lead to spiritual and cultural level is too narrow and empty, as no real alive. Therefore, we use computers is to be timely, appropriate, suitable to use.
