An Apple which is like a giant stepping on everyone's head, and is hard to see the whole face and to communicate with. It is not someone else, it's Steve Jobs. Although their sales of products, for examples, named as iPad, iPhone 3G and Power Book so on, earned not only their own brand admiration but their money. The giant biggest current problem is the balance between CEO and organization who are kind of the EGOist team. For long term, this situation will decline the company's life. To solve this problem is to be humble and gentle to others.(I am NOT so important well, YOU ARE!)
ReplyDeleteThe topic that really impressed me is that the CPBL. After the presentation, I got the point of the current problem of the CPBL. In brief, the scandal is the most annoying problem.. There are several bookmakers helping people doing gamble of the games while the league’s games playing.. That’s really serve phenomenon. Because of the fraud events, the games became unfair.. It is really such a shame. Due to the things like that happen., the CPBL lose their fans gradually. And it hurt a lot to the league indeed..

ReplyDeleteThe Wenshan-Neihu line of the Taipei MRT has suffered many malfunctions since its launch. In last months ago, a train in Xihu station began to emit a burnt smell for unknown reasons, causing panic among passengers. The Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation immediately evacuated 200 passengers from the train. Then, the train will be drove back to the workshop for investigation and maintenance. The result of the inspection was the burnt smell came from continual abrasion of braking disc.
Many people questioned the fact that there have been six incidents of brake discs burning since testing began on Wenshan-Neihu line. Although it was a fairly simple braking system malfunction, the related authorities will resolve as soon as possible. The Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation has also implemented a new version of compensation measures recently.

ReplyDeleteI want to talk a bit about CPBL that was presented by group 3. After I finished reading a whole article given on the blog post, I found lots of interesting things that should be put on the presentation slides. From times to times, CPBL faced the same problem, game fixing scandal, but the presenters didn't put any detail to talk about it and just mentioned the general things, analyzing about why this problem doesnt solve yet would be more interesting to talk about since every team was experiencing severe difficulties times to face this problem. Another interesting part is about illegal sports bookmarking in Taiwan, unlike in the United Kingdom and other countries, Im just wondering, why it's illegal in Taiwan and what it will be causing the worse effect since other countries do in that way. Hope to find some brilliant analyzes from the presenter group, not just mentioned the things that already mentioned.
Microsoft’s current problem is who have so many strong completely companies such as Google, Apple and Intel et al. Microsoft was monopoly within on PC, but now Google or Apple set a hurry step to improve and to development new goods. The new goods must be near human using, such like iPad, iPod touch. Microsoft didn’t sale the new goods, after sale the window 7.
ReplyDeleteMcDonald's foods usually cause problems such as the oil contains arsenate, and those toxic elements can cause the cancer’s happened. However, although McDonald's foods are not health for people, there are still many people can’t refuse the temptation, so I think whatever we can do is ask McDonald to do their quality control well, and we also need to eat those foods less.

ReplyDeleteGambling lead to many players earn illegitimate money and play fake games again and again.
The fans and audiences feel inconceivable and sad about it, they will not watach the baseball games anymore.
It not only destory the confidence of fans, but also to damage the honorary of CPBL.
To face the problem, the Taiwan government needs to do more to eradicate underground gambling rings,
and improve physical environment of baseball. In the futur, I hope I can watch a "really" and "clean" baseball games in Taiwan.

ReplyDeleteI n this blogging task, I will talk about the current problem of CPBL. CPBL was established on October 23, 1989 and have got popular in Taiwan. and government support CPBL as major sport in Taiwan but there is limitation of being popular in Taiwan with several reason that are inferior facility, Imperfect system, and low salary to player. As well as the reason that bookmaker get involve into leagues and the military service which make player stop to maintain training. Further more, recently more problems are rising. That could be a gambling syndicate, which fix its game scandal, Tasi Cheng-yi cooperate with two professional baseball players believed to have served as intermediaries with active players to get them to fix games to profit bookmaking operators. And some players were threatened by the mob into losing games. This problem is exclusively not only the problem of CPBL, this fraud bring unwillingness by Taiwanese to enjoy the CPBL. But there are some solutions which make CPBL get back its position and promote. The first one is behalf of government that needs to do more to eradicate underground gambling rings and also if provide the players appearance fees or more salary. There is some news from government about CPBL that Taiwanese President unveiled a four-year plan in December to spend $62 million to revive and clean up the CPBL, it is perceived that Taiwan government care about CPBL and the money will help CPBL to get back their position.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, I think the current problem that Amazon faces is the privacy of consumer and the website security. I never buy the books or music CD or DVD, for I have no faith in the virtual world. It may be risky to buy the product in the internet, when you receive the product, but at the mean time, you found that it under your expectation and you felt unsatisfied with this product. Besides, your privacy information may be leaked out through the internet. Though its e-commerce business model has a brand name worldwide. So I think it can’t underestimate the security of Amazon website.

For McDonald's, the most problem it had faced was food health problem, although McDonald's provide convenience and delicious food, but most of those food are high fat food, that is not good for our health. Recently, McDonald's even was reported that it’s cooking oil was harm in some of store in Taiwan, that made many people fear eating McDonald's food. Therefore, for McDonald's, how to improve people’s view, trying to make more healthy food, that maybe the most important thing it has to do.

Although greasy French fries are so good that it can be on top of the list of “The Best Food in The World”, it is true that French fries are very unhealthy. High calories food and grease lead to obesity. Obesity is now getting more and more attention than it used to be. Scientific research point out that obesity can be the rood problem of many diseases. Therefore, much more people start promoting light-food meal, which is a crucial way to prevent from obesity, and this means McDonald’s will need to modify their recipes into light-grease ones or no one will like to diet in McDonald’s anymore.

Only 15 percent of the food they sold were healthy such as salads and fruit juices. So these would cause a lot of illness. McDonald's fast food has high calories and low in fibre, vitamins and minerals. These are linked with cancers and Heart disease. Second, there were some problems happened in Taiwan. Consumer Protection Commision announced that McDonald's food sample wrere found arsenic. Although there were some mistakes , it have hurt McDonald's brand name. Now, McDonald's test their oil quality twice every day to save their brand name and have more discount to market their products. Then ,they can try to develop new products about light food and publish advertisements to propagate and improve their images.
ReplyDeleteI want discussing CPBL. Baseball is a traditional sports in Taiwan. I remember when I in High school, I often watch baesball game in stadium, I very addicted and very support baseball, but everything is change, a lot of player fraud, make fans lose faith.

I’m a mad baseball fan. Watching MLB and CPBL is something a fan will definitely do, and of course supporting them. But everything changed when the bookmakers’ issues get involved. A lot’s of CPBL fans were disappointed when they know their favorite players play fake for the monrey. And some of the players are even stars in CPBL. What’s more, the bookmeakers are involved in the world games too! I’m sure we won’t forget the day when Taiwan beaten up by China, that was the day when people said ‘Taiwan baseball was over’. As my opinion, I feel depressed too, but as long as it’s a game anything will happen because’The ball is round’. However, when I know the reason or the truth of losing the game. I feel sad, I’m also confused; those players play baseball as their dream when they are just 6 or 7years old. For so many years they tried so hard to get on this court. And they just give up all these because of money glamour? They should get punished! These players should pay for what they did. The government should get involved immediately. We all know that we have some talented players in Taiwan, but we are lack of environment and funds to rise them. The most important is that the players should get their guarantee after they end their carrer. A lot of players said their only profession is playing baseball, so it’s hard for them to get another job after they retired. Government should think of a way to solve this problem, for example, plan them to be a coach for school baseball team or a PE teacher. We shouldn’t let foolish things like this ever happen again. There should be no mercy.

In this years, you can see more and more fat boy or fat girl walking in the street ,and the average weight in our country growth quickly.
The reason is our food culture had been change. The children in Taiwan like McDonald's more than our traditional food.
Than the news happen last year say that, the oil they fried is failed with arsenic, and the way they do really make us lose hope.
But that make us have a good chance to think about what should we eat.
Like the one of the famous word recently “loho”. The loho living style mean you can choice the food much lighter and the way make earth more healthy.
McDonald's should control their food’s quality seriously, and give more healthy choice for their customer. Maybe that will make more money for them.

ReplyDeleteI will talk about the company of Microsoft that is a huge band. In the world, many people use their products. And it can provide free email and news services for us. Recently, the free emails have some problem that is many windows users have been complaining about the outlook connector upgrade. Reportedly, the outlook connecter upgrade problem occurred when the users of Microsoft 2003 and 2007 tried to access their live mail and windows hotmail accounts.

If this problem become more and more serious, maybe the ticket machine will become a tool which illegal people use to wash money.
There are some ways which can reduce this situation. First, Taipei government can promote some profits to use Easy card, it will make people want to use it more. Second, Taipei metro company can elevate machines sensitivity. The last way may be set some serious law make the illegal people know how bad they have done.
Taipei Metro is an convenient freight in Taipei. As a metropolitan, it’s hard to get a place for parking in Taipei. For people live in Taipei there have two kind of freight, one is bus, another is MRT. Taipei Metro make good connect with this two major public transit system decreased the traffic problem in Taipei. The MRT company also offers a good environment of the station for population. Especially in rush hour. Although it’s a good company offer a good public transit system. But there still has some problem about the system. Due to the new line of MRT, Wenshan-Neihu, when it was just finish the system always have problem in connect with the original system. And the sensitivity of the charge machine. Taipei Metro company has to solve this problem to make the system better.
ReplyDeleteIn the eight presentations, the most impress me is Apple. There are many manufactures of 3C, and all of them always are recommended by people. People believe Apple is high quality because the beautiful looks and strong functions, like iPod, iPhone. Although it is a well brand about this company, I think it still a big problem. If you want to use Apple product in Microsoft system computer, you should setup the program of Apple and then you can use it in Microsoft system computer. For example, I buy an iPod before, if I want to copy music to iPod, I should setup a program which is called iTunes. It is really inconvenient.
ReplyDeleteCPBL has historical background, local baseball players and Live TV Show. A lot of people in Taiwan like to see the baseball game. Many people around me are all crazy and loyal baseball fans. There are some problems for CPBL, and I talked about it in two sections of outside and inside. Recently CPBL had an unprecedented scandal; that is “Bookmarker get involve”. It is really a big threat for CPBL and it is a shame to all of Taiwan people, especially who have backed CPBL up for a long time and started to feel cheated when they this scandal. But there are two opposite reaction from people, one is still for them whereas the other is starting criticize their behavior about cheating who support them. How can they destroy the fame of CPBL? The glamour of money drives the baseball players to play the fake game and some are threatened by the mob into losing games. For the inside is that the managerial system of CPBL is imperfect and not integrity also inferior facility. The inside problems existed for a long time, but the CPBL still doesn’t find out the solution to solve the inside problems. According to their actions and attitude to long term existed problems, it is easy to see how weak the structure of the CPBL.

Thanks group 8 introduced Taipei metro. The traffic is very important for the city economical and people. Everyone can use the public transit for anywhere.
ReplyDeleteIn group 8 think Taipei metro Problem is Taipei Rapid Transit had found game tokens in the machines. But I think some problems that is people first come to Taipei, the map perplex to them. On the side, you can’t easy pass the machines in the busy time. Actuality, I think the Taipei metro problem should be plan a good outlet in the busy time.
IKEA want to promote a “Sustainable forestry” in China. Actually that is very difficult to reach. There are too many problem need to be solved. First, China is a developing country, many infrastructure and system are still imperfect, especially in the rural area. The most important is the economic backwardness. People will do anything just to buy food, whether legal or illegal. This factor make the entire region is difficult to effective control and management. Second major problem is their unique political system, Communist Party of China. Government can very quickly change any policies or laws, so set a long-term plan in China there are many risks exist. Next, good forest management requires a lot of manpower, ,material resources and policy coordination. So I think China is not a very ideal location to pursue this project.
ReplyDeleteI will talk about IKEA’s problem, IKEA wows the Russia since it invested a lot of time and money in Russia. But Russia always have a big problem that is pervasive corruption and demands for bribes. Although IKEA had been in a long public campaign against government corruption, it seems that IKEA had a big problem in communication and management with its Russia branch. Maybe it is a common problem for a global business because of its scale and size. But we should know that it’s very important on communication and management with its branches if this company want to exist sustaintial.

However, this plan of Google recently has been accused that it’s illegal collection of user’s unencrypted wireless transmission of personal data. So a protection has been taken by the Government of Austria and it announced that it had already removed illegally collect personal information on Google. It is a big problem about privacy.

ReplyDeleteAll CPBL fans including me don’t want to pay for the fixed game. It let us feel be cheated. Although the CPBL make all their efforts and promise that this kind of scandal won’t happen any more, CPBL have lost our trust. People say that money talks, and who knows maybe one day the game-fixing scandal will occur again.
McDonald's is the biggest fast food store in the world. There are a lot of McDonald’s stores in many countries. But, many research show that fast food is not healthy for people. Therefore, the McDonald’s company decides to add light food in their meal. I think it is good promotion strategy. Because now people are suffered from high pressure of work, they should not eat too oily food. People must have perfect health comes with balanced diet. The other way, McDonald’s company has different meal in different countries. People in some countries don’t eat beef, and some people in the other countries do not eat pork. So, McDonald has many marketing executive to help it have global and local strategy.

The biggest problem of CPBL is integrity. Because of involve gambling, the fans of CPBL is dramatically reduction. In Taiwan, most people are not believing CPBL now! Moreover, the treatment of CPBL’s players is so poor. This circumstance lead to excellent players that will not stay in CPBL. There are not nice players in CPBL step by step.

As we know many people claim that fast food lead to children obesity epidemic, and recently a California county was stopping restaurants from using toys to lure children to high-calorie, salt-laden food , they hoped that fast food company can change the meal into more healthy food, or the ordinance would be executed.

Before the scandal of CPBL, I was proud that there are so many best baseball players and baseball teams in our country and our national baseball team is well known by worldwide. Therefore, when I knew the news, I felt disappointed and sorrow. What happened in our baseball team? The CPBL we had been proud before , but now it is controlled by mob or bookmakers. I think it is not only the problems of CPBL , our government also have to take responsibility for this event. They should put emphasis on this event and solve this problem, instead of pretending to people especially voters who they indeed care that they really care for CPBL and they will solve the problem. But in the end, they do nothing. I hope the government take this event seriously , and make policy to prevent this event happen again.

Mcdonald’s food can cause a lot of illness and it is unhealthy. If people want to eat more healthy food, they could eat the food such as salads and fruit juices.
ReplyDeleteThe Mcdonald offers the main product which is the fry food and big hamburger, and it has higher calories and worse ingredient to our body. If people often eat the fry food and hamburgers, they could be linked to the cancer and get the heart disease.
Some people ate the Mcdonald and they proved that its food is related to the health. The events often made the Mcdoland to be accused in America. If people consider their health , they could not enter the Mcdonald. It could lose some customers.
In Taiwan ,the Mcdonald encounter the bad oil event. Their oil include the chemical ingredient which is bad for the body. Besides , I heared someone said that the oil of some shops was not change for long time, because they want to reduce the cost. It is so terrible.
Last year the CPBL has got a big trouble that causes the alliance be ailing. The bookmakers have paid some baseball players a lot of money to convince them to play fraud games; this glamour of money has really effected some players. After noticing this phenomenon, the alliance presented an indictment against the players. This bad news has disappointed many fans of some famous baseball players and crack the CPBL seriously. I think our government should eradicate the underground gambling rings hardly. As a big baseball fan, I hope the CPBL can be better and must be better.

Google and Baidu are both the most outstanding search engine, they have a lot in common, but they have a number of different aspects. Google is facing the global Internet users, while Baidu's users are Chinese netizens, but both are in pursuit of perfection as the highest goal. Google’s functionality is better than Baidu’s, but Baidu gives more consideration to the Chinese user's habits, and Google is considering the use of all countries in the world of user habits.
ReplyDeleteBoth Google and Baidu are trying to leverage their network effects to promote other products. Google has many excellent products, but not every product has performed well in China. For example, Google Maps is widely used by American users. Unfortunately, Google Maps in China is unable to provide the same features due to unavailability of mapping data in China. Google’s satellite map currently only covers the major Chinese cities. Should Google acquire better maps, it would have a clear advantage over Baidu, which doesn’t offer the same degree of functionality and usability in its map tool.
Although music copyright is a controversial issue within China, the market reality is that millions of Chinese Internet users download free music online. Baidu understands this reality and its music search product — which presents a list of links for free music downloads when people search by song, singer, or label — is extremely popular. Google is unable to compete with Baidu in this regard due to its adherence to US copyright laws.
Therefore, culture and consumer behavior are critical factors in determining whether a product will succeed in an overseas market or not. So far, Google products have not been as appealing as Baidu to Chinese users. However, Google's exit brightens an already bright Baidu picture. With its only serious rival having hobbled itself, Baidu will now enjoy near-monopoly status in China's Chinese-language search category.
There are many problems in google company. Such as how to protect user’s individual information and how to increase his competetive to other similar prducts…etc.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, to protect user’s information is the most important to solve problem instantly, because it will effects people believe google company or not. Somebody said ”danger is change” . So google must find out their way to solution and encounter their obstacles.
Fist thing to do is strengthening the security of data. For example, not only the user’s password input data is encrypted ,the email content also is encrypted. By all of user’s service fully encrypted .I think it will be great.
McDonald's is a very giant fast-food franchise, which has a huge financial base and a big brand. In my opinion, McDonald’s foods are unhealthy for people and come to obesity. Although all of us know that it is unhealthy for us, it still exists. It is because the culture nowadays. Fast-foods are more convenience and not need to waste more time to finish a meal. Recently, McDonald’s promotes the light food but their top seller still is the cheeseburger. Added that, the happy meal advertisement attract the children consumed just for the toys. McDonald’s contains the toxic arsenic in their food. Their employee did not distinguish whether the arsenic in the food is organic or inorganic. As we seen that, McDonald’s were confronted a lot of negative problem, but it is still working. I think all of us need to figure out whether McDonald’s caused our unhealthy live or we choose to make our live be like that.

ReplyDeleteGoogle is "almost certain" to face prosecution for collecting data from unsecured wi-fi networks, according to Privacy International (PI).
ReplyDeleteThe independent audit of the Google system shows that the system used for the wi-fi collection intentionally separated out unencrypted content (payload data) of communications and systematically wrote this data to hard drives. This is equivalent to placing a hard tap and a digital recorder onto a phone wire without consent or authorisation," said PI in a statement.
Regarding the suggestion aimed at cooperation management, I am most impressed by Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). The only reason is that as Taiwan’s “national sport”, CPBL has erupted match-fixing news every few years and broke the diehard fans’ hearts again and again. Although it’s the 20th anniversary of CPBL, the remaining four teams have started reluctantly this season.
ReplyDeleteWhat, then, are the horrible problems of CPBL? Why can’t the briberies and syndicates be eradicated? The sick system behind the get-rich glamour is the main reason for scheming a fraud game between the players and the bookmaker. The news points that there was a match-fixing list spread among the league and the teams. When the player of the list arouses suspicion, the team usually doesn’t unveil it and let it suffer from indictment directly. Turning a blind eye is to assure the safety of the league’s and the player’s reputation temporarily, but it doesn’t improve the overall CPBL quality.
Because the government and league allow the scandals to continuously happen, this has proved that their words are only empty promises. Baseball fans hope to see a system reformation. With a different attitude, baseball team La New Bears solemnly decided to outcast their ex-teammates. They posted these ex-stars’ pictures on the baseball field’s advertising wall. The pictures had “SHAME” (in Chinese) printed in big text next to them. So if CPBL wants to earn fans’ confidence and trust again, it’s urgent to adjust their system!
