Grading Policy

Dear all,

It's almost the end of the semester,
and I'm right now working on your final scores following the policy below.

  • Attendance (20%), Class participation (output exercise, listening log, blog post/comment, learning portfolio) (20%), Group work (presentation, feedback to/interaction with other groups) (20%), Test performance (quiz, midterm, final) (40%)
If you wanna talk to me,
come meet me in the office (better by appointment).

NOTE: Students in the list below (to be announced this Wednesday, 6/23) should meet me at classroom 202 (Language Center Building) this Friday noon (6/25, 12:00)!

e-Portfolio (~6/11)

Please refer to the CHECKLIST and find out what to put in your portfolio!
You should hand in the checklist to me (in my mailbox or in my office) BEFORE this Friday (6/11).

FINAL WEEK (6/07~6/11) MAKEUP (6/14~6/18)

You should reach 265 in the listening test and 220 in the reading test.
If you fail (Check the list below),
you should take make-up tests in the following week (6/14~6/18).

(1) Do the make-up test online as many times as you need within the makeup week (6/14~6/18).
(2) You should reach 285 or above in the listening test and 240 or above in the reading test.

Students who were supposed to make up for the weekly quiz had already met me at classroom 201 this and last Tuesday morning! (Names and scores in the following list!)

NOTE: The make-up test was largely based on previous test questions! (Questions and answers available through FTP and eCampus!)

You are strongly recommended to check out the following websites for more practice BEFORE you take the test.

If you did not sign up for the online test on 6/01,
please go to the FLAC center and ask for help!

NOTE: You have only ONE chance to take the online test!
